At the foot of Cliftonville lies a 4-acre tidal pool, a concrete remnant of Margate’s hay day. Continually revealed and concealed it is a place where equilibrium is perpetually disturbed and restored. This space summons a community of people who remain individual in their experience. Through the film the viewer becomes a component in this dance with nature, which is orchestrated through the push and pull of the tides.
